If you choose to play with the animals, you should keep in mind of these criteria. implying these rules will enable you and the chosen animal to have an optimum experience
General rules for all animals
NO flash photography.
Please don’t force yourself onto the animals. this may scare them.
Do not try to pick them out without the supervision from the staff.
-recommended to ask the staff to carry for you.
Do not overfeed the animals.
Don’t put your finger between the gaps of the cage for safety reasons.
Don’t scream or bang the cage or using loud object in front of the animals, they have sensitive hearing.
Do not step into their habitats, they are not used to your smell, and lead them to run and hide.
Please handle the animal with care, pat and carry them with love and caution.
These animals WILL BITE if threatened . they are all mostly prey. so please don’t alarm them. ( but they usually don’t)
Guinea pigs

Guinea pigs are preys, they often run if you try to pat them. so please ask one of our staff if you choose to carry one.
Don’t take the hay from their house and try to feed, they enjoy self service, if you want to feed, we offer some vegetables for them, but in moderate serving.
Do not force grab them. it will scares them and they might scream.
Chinchilla

Dont grab then by the tail.
Do not stick your finger into their cage, cause they might nibble/bite to show affection ( it can get a bit painful)
Some of them are very moveable to please handle them with caution.
- we have babies, they are still very fragile. please handle with care
These animals are preserved animals. they need to be registered with the gov
eg: dogs and cats
Their fur is very valuable, they use it to keep warm so do not try and pull some for souvenir.
They enjoy to jump and move around, So if you decide to carry one. Ask one of the staff to carry one to you, keeping and eye incase if they decide to move a lot.
Turtle

Do not stick your hand into the water.
If you choose to carry please ask one of the staff.
You cant feed them, they have a timed meal time and we do not want to risk over feeding.
Try not to rough handle them, they may have a shell but they are still able to get hurt.
Hamster

They may be tiny but they can bite. so if you choose to hold one. ask one of the staff.
Please dont try to feed our hamsters without asking the staff. Cause we need to keep track of their diet
Do not stick your hand into their homes, one of them enjoy to nibble/bite when someone enters their home
Hamsters are small and fragile so handle them with caution
