About Chanel : She likes to be a spy, loves saliva grooming, and is able to pose like a model whenever asked to. She is good at acting, knowing when to blend in. She was one of the OGS in the de Babylier clan. Chanel came to us as a baby with Gucci. Chanel enjoys cuddling by resting on your neck, since it provides her comfort and warmth.

About Gucci: Gucci enjoys acting like a queen, but besides her royal status she is a very kind hearted piggy. Gucci is good at dancing along with her siblings when food is about to be served. She enjoys sharing a bottle of water with her sister Chanel.  When being carried she enjoys leaning on your body, till the fact that sometimes she nearly falls if you move her.

About Dior: She is a very timid type of person. She usually minds her own business and helps her sister valentina if either one of them gets bullied.  Dior gets very shy with people who she is unfamiliar with, but she loves to be petted while she is eating. Dior loves to be patted when eating. Dior often tries to mind her business and not cause any problems, but if she ever runs into trouble she will try to show dominance.

About Valentina: She is a very shy girl, she often gets bullied but is learning to stand up for herself recently. She may be hairless but she is like our heat pack. She has a big appetite and often finishes her food in a blink of an eye. Valentina often runs when you try to go near her, it seems like Sonic has a new rival. She usually vibrates when you touch her, our favorite vibrating heat pack.

Nickname: bruda boy

DOB : May 30, 2021

About Bvlgari: He was one of the best guinea pigs we had ever had, he had sadly left us but we will never forget what he did.  He would help Amanda find the other guinea pigs so she could carry them.  He even helped to try and stop the girls from fighting.  Bvlgari loves his hay,he could even hog it for himself at times. He even had a phase where he was in love with dior. Bvlgari was a very tough boy.  When he was suffering he kept it to himself until he couldn’t take it anymore.  He even was so cooperative when we tried to feed him. Until the very last meal he ate was at will.  He then died on Amanda’s lap on the way to visit family. He will always be loved and treasured in the De Babylier family.

About Cartier: He is such a gentleman, but can be playful at times, he often minds his business but when he is bored he decides to bully the girls. And it seems like he has a crush on Chanel. Cartier is a very calm guinea pig, unless we are providing food. He enjoys giving kisses as affection whenever he enjoys something. He often likes to sleep on high places.

About Burberry: He is a very humble little fella, he enjoys helping others when they are getting bullied by confronting the bully. But at times he likes to play with the others as well. Burberry is a very good hay eater. He can devour that hay in a matter of moments. He enjoys sleeping on top of the houses with Cartier on the house beside him. Burberry always walks around as a fluffy blueberry ( even the name sounds alike).

About Balenciaga: He is a very naughty boy.  He enjoys messing with his siblings and tries to assert his dominance over them.

Guinea pigs eat their own poop……What?! Yes, as well as the poop you will see in their enclosure, they also produce special soft poop. They eat these to ensure they absorb all the nutrients they need.  

• Another name for a guinea pig is a “cavy.” Their scientific name is Cavia porcellus. They are a member of the rodent family “Caviidae,” which was first discovered in South America. 
• Guinea pigs can be divided into two broad categories: long haired and short haired. 
• Guinea pigs with short hair are often easier to care for than those with longer hair. There are capybaras in this family as well. 
• A male guinea pig is referred to as a “boar,” and a female as a “sow.” Pups are the name given to young guinea pigs.
• Guinea pigs have teeth that are said to be “open rooted,” which means that their teeth are always growing. This means they need to munch on food and grind their teeth down. To keep their teeth in the appropriate alignment and to prevent them from grinding them down, they must always have access to food. 
• Guinea pigs need to eat lots of hay and forage. This should be 80-90% of their diet. They can also have a small portion of vegetables and dry pellets each day. Fruits and herbs are special treats.
•  Another interesting fact about guinea pigs is that there are four toes at the front feet, whereas the back feet have three.  
• Guinea pigs are extremely sociable creatures and prefer to live in groups. They should not be kept alone since they become quite lonely.
